Together for the Planet
This community event brings residents together to document environmental conditions in local parks while moving through the city in sustainable ways. Participants will use simple tools to measure air quality, noise, and temperature, contributing to a broader understanding of urban heat and pollution.
By promoting walking, biking, and public transit, the project highlights how transportation choices impact environmental health. Together, we’ll learn, collect data, and build shared knowledge that supports healthier, more connected neighborhoods. Trashion Show Long Beach 2026

Location: Long Beach Playhouse, California
Are you a creative designer with a flair for fashion made from upcycled or unconventional materials? We want to see your vision on the runway!
Join us for the 2026 Trashion Show Long Beach, presented by Creative Art Events, and showcase your original, eco-conscious design at this high-energy community event.
How to Participate:
To be considered as a designer in the show, you must complete this official form. (https://tinyurl.com/TSLBdesigner)
Create one full family-friendly original ensemble
Children are welcome to participate with an adult submitting the form on their behalf.
Submission Deadline: July 31, 2026
All submissions must include one complete ensemble. Designs must be original and created by the named designer(s). If more than one person contributes to a look, they will be listed as co-designers.
Important Dates & Details:
Designers may model their own designs or find their own models.Venue Guidelines:
Designs must accommodate the venue's size limitations. The narrowest clearance between seats and aisles is 40 inches wide. All garments must be able to navigate this space comfortably.
