Trashion Show Long Beach is an annual, high-energy community fashion event that transforms discarded materials into bold, imaginative runway designs. Produced by Creative Art Events, the show celebrates sustainability, creativity, and environmental awareness by challenging designers to create wearable art using recycled, reused, and repurposed materials.
Open to emerging and experienced designers of all ages, Trashion Show Long Beach brings together artists, students, educators, and community members for an inclusive evening of eco-fashion, performance, and inspiration. Designers present original garments constructed from items such as plastic, paper, metal, textiles, packaging, and other reclaimed materials, proving that waste can be reimagined as beauty and innovation.
The event features a live runway show, music, and community engagement, drawing a diverse audience and sparking conversations about waste reduction, climate action, and creative reuse. Beyond the runway, Trashion Show Long Beach serves as an educational platform—encouraging sustainable practices, artistic experimentation, and environmental responsibility through hands-on design.

Youth receive supplies, food, sewing kits, mentorship, and the opportunity to showcase their creations in a youth fashion show—and potentially at Trashion Show Long Beach.
