Fun-A-Day-LA
We are a proud sponsor of Fun-A-Day-LA Now TEN years old!!!! Join us in the celebration of reaching double digits!!The idea is beautifully simple: choose a creative adventure—📸 capture a photo, 🧼 whip up soap, ✏️ sketch a moment, 🍰 bake something sweet, 🎴 paint a tarot card, 🧶 knit tiny blankets for tiny paws, 🎲 design a board game, 💍 craft jewelry or clothing, ✊ make protest art, 📝 write poetry, 💃 create a dance, 🎶 compose a song… whatever makes you smile.
Participate by filling out this form. It is okay if it changes.
This show is free to submit and attend, and is non juried. There will be meetups in January and February with prompts for art making and community art canvases that everyone is encouraged to add paint to! You can work on your art, meet others and help spread the word about the show.
Show location: 425 East 1st Street Long Beach, CA 90802
Opening: Saturday, February 28 (setup starts at 10am) show times are 12-4pm

Together for the Planet
This community event brings residents together to document environmental conditions in local parks while moving through the city in sustainable ways. Participants will use simple tools to measure air quality, noise, and temperature, contributing to a broader understanding of urban heat and pollution.
By promoting walking, biking, and public transit, the project highlights how transportation choices impact environmental health. Together, we’ll learn, collect data, and build shared knowledge that supports healthier, more connected neighborhoods.
